Luke 19:11-27 New Living Translation (NLT)
Jesus tells his disciples he will be going back to the Father soon, but that he will one day return for them. Until he returns, the disciples are to be busy going about the Father’s business of sharing the Good News. They are to use their gifts for the benefit of the Kingdom.
Jesus tells us the same thing through his Word, today. How strongly does God feel about us remaining faithful to the work of the Kingdom while waiting for his Second Coming? Jesus shared a parable to convey the importance.
