  2. In this season of your life, what is one of your main responsibilities?
  3. How does the Bible define responsibility, based on the Scriptures you read this week?

4: In what ways does God take care of you?

  1. Based on what you discovered in Lessons 1-5, how can the decision to be responsible help you make wise decisions in uncertain times?

Tonight in our Bible Study we begin Week 3 — Judges 3.

For tonight’s Bible Study we will focus on Judges 3:1-6. Now that we understand what it means to be a responsible Christ-follower and how irresponsible choices can trap us, holding us back from peaceful, abundant living, it’s time to dig into Judges 3. This week of study will focus on the accounts of some of the judges God installed to govern Israel and how their perseverance ushered in breakthrough. You will discover that the decision to endure is crucial as you fulfill your unique purpose at this time in history and choose to keep following God’s lead each day.

Prayer: Father, thank You for bringing the trials that test our faith, as well as the consequences we face when we do not completely follow Your instructions. We need to take personal responsibility for our lives under Your rule. We should have no desire to make alliances with the world, so please help us guard our hearts and minds and remain in Your Word. May our influence of others be pleasing to you, Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
