A Change in Thinking

God created the heavens and the earth, and placed creative humanity in a position to govern it under divine authority.  We have allowed ourselves to leave the ways of God to follow the false standard of culture because we love our own “THINKING”…and our natural thinking without God’s influence is basically selfish and therefore, distorted.  And, the sad thing is when our thinking is distorted all of our attitudes and behaviors keep leaning in that direction.

Albert Einstein said, “The world we have created is a product of our thinking; it cannot be changed without changing our thinking.

When will we, as human beings, stop blaming everyone else, take responsibility for the condition of our world in our individual spheres of influence, and begin to allow God to change our thinking in order to please divine authority?

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” Romans 12:2

The “new person” loves God with all one’s heart, soul, mind, and strength, and one’s neighbor (everyone else) as much as self. (Reference Luke 10:27).

Let’s invite God to inspect our thoughts, today…
