Luke 11:33-36 New Living Translation (NLT)

Everyday the sun shines is a great day for me. I truly enjoy waking up and seeing a glorious sunrise lighting up the darkness. Jesus is the Light of the world and he brings true light to our otherwise darkened souls. We have no spiritual eyes to see without Jesus. We need him to even understand a true spiritual connection with God.

Do you have healthy eyes? If you see Jesus and if you recognize he is the glory of God, they your eyes can truly see. So, cast your gaze upon Jesus and make him your first love. Then, darkness cannot hide and evil must flee as the Light occupies you. Receive the Light of Truth from God’s Son—the Living Word—and be radiant for God’s glory. Ask the Lord to increase your spiritual vision, today. Scripture reminds us it is a prayer God delights in answering.

Luke 11:33-36 Receiving the Light

33 “No one lights a lamp and then hides it or puts it under a basket.[a] Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where its light can be seen by all who enter the house.

34 “Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light. But when it is unhealthy, your body is filled with darkness. 35 Make sure that the light you think you have is not actually darkness. 36 If you are filled with light, with no dark corners, then your whole life will be radiant, as though a floodlight were filling you with light.”

Prayer: Lord, thank you for bringing me the Light I need to bring you glory. Continue to increase my spiritual eyesight, hearing, and wisdom with understanding. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

be not only successful but to enjoy the journey. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
