Psalm 145:1-5 New Living Translation (NLT)
Do you know what can turn a tough day around? Praise. It’s true. When we lift up the name of Jesus and praise him for his amazing grace, it lifts our focus off from ourselves and onto the Savior. Our spirits gain strength and our souls—mind, will, emotions—turn toward joy. God inhabits the praise of his people, so we can experience more of God when we declare his goodness. Try it!
Psalm 145:1-5
A psalm of praise of David.

I will exalt you, my God and King,
and praise your name forever and ever.
2
I will praise you every day;
yes, I will praise you forever.
3
Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise!
No one can measure his greatness.
4
Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts;
let them proclaim your power.
5
I will meditate on your majestic, glorious splendor
and your wonderful miracles.
Prayer: Lord, help me to focus on you today; on praising you for your great love and care of me. Thank you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
