Psalm 138:1-3 The Message (MSG)

I love to say, “Thank you!”  When people are thoughtful and kind, it fills my soul with joy to express gratitude.  Appreciation blesses the giver and it blesses the receiver.  Does saying, “Thank you” to others come easy to you?  Does it graciously roll off your tongue?  If you understand how God feels about a grateful heart, you will make expressing gratitude to those around you a part of your daily practice.

Expressing gratitude for the faithfulness of God should be part of our daily prayers.  God is so very good to us; always providing and sharing blessings with his children.  Every good and perfect gift comes from him.  So, start your day with “Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you…(you get the idea).

Psalm 138:1-3  A David Psalm

1-3 Thank you! Everything in me says “Thank you!”

    Angels listen as I sing my thanks.

I kneel in worship facing your holy temple

    and say it again: “Thank you!”

Thank you for your love,

    thank you for your faithfulness;

Most holy is your name,

    most holy is your Word.

The moment I called out, you stepped in;

    you made my life large with strength.

Prayer:  Lord, you are always there to bring me strength and provision; everything I need you provide.  And, you bless me beyond my basic needs.  Thank you.  I so appreciate your amazing love and all you do for me.  In Jesus’ name.  Amen.
