Interruptions are Messy Day 18

Interruptions are Messy

ReRead:  Mark 2:12

Tuesday 3/10/15   Day 18

Ponder:  The crowd witnessed the restorative work of Messiah in their midst and praise filled the house and beyond.  Their testimony, “We have never seen anything like this!”  When we recognize the work of Christ manifesting in another person, it should fill our hearts with gratitude and our mouths with praise.  Celebrate what God is doing in other people.  Every life that is changed by Christ, is a life saved for eternity.  Do you celebrate God’s work in and through others?

Practice:  Bad attitudes are offered up on the plate of life each day.  We must choose whether or not we will partake. Be determined to put on joy and praise.  God inhabits the praises of His people.  If you want more of God, leave negativity behind and put praise on your lips instead. Rejoice with other brothers and sisters in Christ.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, I want to enjoy your presence in me each day.  I have the power of your grace and strength to turn negativity into a song of praise.  No matter what is going on in my life, there is a positive that you have deposted for me to recognize and celebrate. Fill me with joy unspeakable and compel me to lift the heart of another person today.  I want to celebrate abundant life.  In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Mission:  Perhaps a family member, friend, neighbor, or co-worker needs to be reminded that God desires to walk with him or her.  Therefore, if anyone is willing, he or she need to pick up his or her mat and travel life today with Jesus. Praise is the bi-product of life with Jesus. Every child of God should celebrate His presence!
