Titus 1:1
1 This letter is from Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ. I have been sent to proclaim faith to [strengthen the faith of] those God has chosen and to teach them to know the truth that shows them how to live godly lives.
The Truth comes from God and leads back to God and we are called to live “godly” in the Truth. What does that mean to you? According to Scripture, it means we rest in the provision of God, because the Lord has prepared everything for us to live the Truth in spiritual victory. As we look forward to celebrating Pentecost this Sunday, we must realize to live godly in the Truth is to live with the Spirit of Truth guiding our daily love walk.
Some days it takes a strong faith to keep walking in a godly direction, doesn’t it? Yet, if we will allow the Spirit of God to dwell deeply within us speaking Truth to our spirits, then as we hear and obey we will be victorious in pleasing our Father. We may not walk perfectly, my friends, but we can walk dependently upon Christ’s love which is what the Father has asked us to do. Today, allow Christ’s love to grab ahold of you and just keep walking for the glory of God. Celebrate each victorious moment and give God the glory.
Prayer: Lord, continue to strengthen my faith as I allow the love of Christ to dwell deeply within me and guide my steps. I know each godly step is ordered by you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
